Dr. Lukas Näf

 

Lukas_smallLukas Näf is Researcher for the research domain (FSP) Musical Interpretation at the Department of Music, ZHdK. Lukas studied musicology, history and philosophy at the University of Zurich, where he was awarded his M.A. Afterward, Lukas became a Swiss National Foundation research fellow and completed his Ph.D. on the Beckett-settings of the Romanian-French composer Marcel Mihalovici.

Previous to the merge of the School of Art and Design Zurich (HGKZ) and the Zurich School of Music, Drama and Dance (HMT), Lukas was Assistant for research and development at HMT. He is now research associate at the Department of Music, ZHdK.

Lukas is also currently the General Editor of the Erich Schmid Edition, where he continuously publishes music editions and writes on topics about 20th century music and Swiss music history.
