Ann-Christine Straw


Ann-Christine Straw works as Research Assistant for the project Toward a Science of Music Performance. She develops software to analyze and collect data from the project using the most diverse sensor technologies.

Before she joined the project, Ann-Christine was a Junior Assistant in physics at ETH Zurich, where she provided clarification for physics lessons and conducted group exercises. Ann-Christine has also worked as a professional tutor for Studienkreis Uster teaching secondary and high school students mathematics, physics and English. The Computational Science and Engineering student is finishing the last year of her Bachelor study at ETHZ. She is focusing her study in astrophysics.

Ann-Christine may have dedicated much of her time to the study of physics, but she is also passionate about learning new IT trends, becoming an entrepreneur with high-tech/innovative business start-up companies, playing classical piano, and singing in musicals.
